I wish there was a way to give a zero star or a negative star. An iPhone ordered on 11th May, for which delivery was promised between 16-18 May is not delivered on 27th May, and is stuck in the logistics centre waiting for a delivery courier to pick it up.
I have spent a total of 4-5 hours on phone calls, wrote 9 emails, including personal ones to the CEO of Lazada Malaysia and the head of customer service, and there is no credible response.
Cannot even cancel and get a refund, as they insist you have to wait 15 days from the time it was handed over to the last courier (one week after order) before you can even cancel.
Completely useless marketplace with no accountability or ownership of any issues.
Seeking legal recourse and lodging compliant with KPDNHEP
The government needs to fine Lazada, and if they don't mend their ways, arrange to shut them down.

I tried to call customer service to track my parcel which is not delivered. Not easy to engage live agent or automated agent to help. No follow up.

i have purchased a pre-sales order from Shiseido on 11/11. i have checked with the seller customers service on the status of the items, reply from seller for the undelivered items is due to their lack of manpower to calter for the high demand.
and i infomed seller that i really want the items. on yesterday, i received message from the seller that informed one of the item in the pre-sales set is out of stock. the seller ask whether can send the pre-sales set partially in order to avoid auto cancellation by lazada.
i requested the seller to commit me a date for the delivery of the out of stock item. the reply from seller is to check and get back to me.
however, the order is automatically cancelled by lazada today due to the seller is unable to send out the pre-sales set within stipulated time.
hence, i would like to know what penalty will be imposed by Lazada to the seller.
as i am so frustrated with the issue.
as a buyer, we will be penalise by forfeited the deposit paid if we do not pay the balance on 11.11.
however, seller seem will not losing anything if their can't fulfill their commitment. the order is seem to be closed by refunding the deposit to the buyer.
i would like to hear from you on the penalties that will be imposed to the seller.
